First, i know you all are excited for the launch of stadia this year so let us get to know what are the prerequisites 

1. Fast internet with unlimited data plan
2. a device like phone,laptop,tv etc..
3. a google stadia controller

let us understand what is stadia at first

it is just an game streaming service it is the evolution in gaming

it is a cross gaming platform you can play on pc,your mobile at the greatest video quality.Stadia is a cloud gaming service operated by Google.It is said to be capable of streaming video games up to 4k resolution at 60 frames per second with support for high-dynamic-range, to players via the company's numerous data centers across the globe,provided they are using a sufficiently high-speed internet connection.It will be accessible through desktop Google Chrome web browser,on smartphones,smart televisions and tablets, or through Chromecast.I am very excited about the potential this thing holds,but i also have concerns and worries the factors which effect the quality of your video game are    

1. Encoding overhead
2. Physical distance from the server
3. Quality of last line internet 

Google has been putting lots of resources for improving the encoding and transmission techniques they have already tons of experience in video transmissions from things like youtube 

  One of the first game developers they are working with is ID games as explained by the developer Dustin Land at GDC (Google Developer Conference)

they wanted to use the extreme speed and motion of doom make sure the experience would work even on the most intense games.The only piece of hardware they announced was controller that connects directly to the wifi rather a PC or TV to remove step in the process of getting connected.
